About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical-Telemetry Unit at Sierra Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing safe and effective care to our patients, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, identifying psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and population-specific needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, integrating direct and indirect patient care activities.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the interdisciplinary plan of care, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Collaborate with patients and their designated care partners to meet educational, physical, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Utilize effective communication practices, minimizing risks associated with handoffs and transitions in care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
  • Current Nevada nursing license.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting preferred.
