Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and direct all production activities to meet set objectives while ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with team members to enhance engagement and communication.
  • Develop and sustain a culture of safety focused on preventing incidents and complying with health and safety regulations.
  • Design and manage labor, production, and distribution schedules effectively.
  • Streamline production processes by planning, organizing, and controlling resources efficiently.
  • Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and formulate strategies for performance enhancement.
  • Engage in hands-on management of daily operations.
  • Establish and oversee the operational budget for the facility.
  • Recruit, train, and evaluate team members' performance.
  • Lead special projects and prepare reports as required.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience in the food manufacturing field.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and HACCP principles.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to manage a food processing environment.
  • Ability to inspire and guide a team effectively.
  • Experience managing temperature-sensitive products.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
