Job Summary:

Home Chef is seeking a skilled Production Associate to join our team in a 2nd shift role. As a Production Associate, you will be responsible for labeling, portioning, meal bagging/kitting, and shipping while adhering to all floor safety and food safety standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Key Responsibilities:

Labeling: Accurately label packaging at a standard average rate.
Portioning: Use proper measuring utensils to portion ingredients.
Meal Bagging: Receive direction from Supervisor or Production Lead to fulfill production requirements, have strong attention to detail while picking ingredients, and be able to transition between tasks when needed.
Shipping: Work at a fast pace with strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team to reach shipping goals.

Additional Responsibilities:

Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while onsite at the facilities.
Maintain a clean work area at all times and assist in EOD clean ups.
Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper lifting techniques.
Support the efforts of the company to maintain our food safety system (SQF) and quality programs.

Requirements:

High School Diploma preferred but not required.
6+ months of production/warehouse environment preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and with others as a team.

Hourly Range:
$17.75
