Position Overview:
The Senior Financial Analyst for IT Operations plays a crucial role in the management of IT financial resources.
This position is instrumental in supporting comprehensive planning efforts, generating quarterly forecasts, and delivering essential financial insights and business analytics.
Collaboration with corporate and operational leaders is key to analyzing, reporting, and enhancing the financial performance and strategic direction of the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a proactive individual with excellent communication skills, capable of providing sound financial recommendations based on thorough analyses.
This role aids operational leaders in making informed business decisions through financial and analytical expertise.
Responsibilities include overseeing an annual budget exceeding $100 million.
Key duties encompass facilitating the annual IT financial strategy, forecasting, reconciling actuals, long-term strategic modeling, developing financial models for proposed investments, and executing various ad-hoc analyses related to cash flow.
Additionally, this role involves managing relationships with IT leaders and their financial counterparts, as well as collaborating with Finance, Sourcing, Purchasing, Accounts Payable, Supplier Maintenance, Legal, Tax, and HR departments.
The Senior Financial Analyst will also engage in strategic and operational enhancements while working with various departments and brands.
This position will require support for tools such as Apptio, MarkView, iProc, Tangoe, Daptiv, or other tools as improvements are implemented.

Qualifications and Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in project management, finance, and accounting or related fields within a large corporate environment.
- Experience in IT and/or the Cruise Industry is advantageous.
- Proficient in financial statement analysis.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and root cause analysis skills in ambiguous situations.
- Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a solid business acumen.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and achieve effective outcomes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Adaptable to change and driven to enhance professional skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, team-building, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- Capable of managing multiple deadlines while prioritizing critical tasks.
- Global perspective with experience in diverse cultural environments.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, including in remote settings.
- Strong background in financial planning, project management, and team leadership.
- Ability to produce clear and concise financial reports.
- Skilled in creating engaging PowerPoint presentations for various audiences, including executive management.
- Experience in conducting meetings and documenting action items.
- Competence in reviewing contracts and statements of work for accuracy and relevance.
- Commitment to promoting an ethical and compliant workplace culture, demonstrating integrity, honesty, and respect for others.

Education:
An undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent job experience.
