Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join our team at VCU Health. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrics and gynecology, with a focus on high-risk pregnancy management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide specialty care in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, including labor and delivery coverage, in- and outpatient consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, and management of high-risk pregnancy.
  • Participate in student, resident, and fellow education, as well as the department's clinical research activities.
  • Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows in maternal fetal medicine.
  • Contribute to scholarly publications and presentations.

Requirements

  • Completion of training in General OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine equivalent to ACGME and ABOG accredited programs.
  • Eligible for Medical license in Virginia.
  • Demonstrated experience working in and fostering a diverse faculty, staff, and student environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Completion of an ACGME accredited OB/GYN residency.
  • Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship training program in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
  • Certification by the American Board of OB/GYN in General OB/GYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
