Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Billing and Coding Specialist to join our Gastroenterology Practice. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with MediSoft Practice Management Software and demonstrate proficiency in various billing and coding tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the posting of payments and electronic claim submissions.
  • Utilize hard coding skills to ensure accurate billing.
  • Interpret insurance EOBs and apply appropriate CPT and ICD10 coding.
  • Engage in follow-up processes for insurance claims.

This role is highly computer-intensive, requiring excellent typing skills and speed. We are looking for a polished professional who is a team player and has a minimum of 2+ years of billing experience in a similar environment.

Qualifications

Required: Proven experience in billing and coding.

Preferred: A college degree.

Note: This position encompasses the full revenue cycle.

Compensation will be based on experience. Only candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
