Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. In this role, you will perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:- Travel to locations such as nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams.
- Collect and verify patient information prior to procedures.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams and operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or other designated exam settings.
- Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required.
- Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
- Have a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
- Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
- A competitive salary of $65,000 per year, plus shift differentials and on-call pay.
