About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth Management. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading healthcare provider, delivering trusted and compassionate care to patients in their own homes.

In this role, you will perform portable diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, correctional institutions, residential homes, and other patient locations. You will be responsible for operating portable radiologic equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring image quality while adhering to safety protocols.

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will also be required to collect and verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures, prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, and determine exposure factors based on height, weight, body part, and degree of penetration required.

You will be working closely with our medical teams to deliver high-quality care to patients, and your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be essential in maintaining our high standards.

We work closely with payers, providers, health systems, EMS, employer groups, and others to deliver care in the home to reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, hospital stays, and readmissions. Our Acute Care medical teams are available seven days a week, holidays, and can be requested online or by phone.

Requirements
  • Meet all state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including one or more of the following: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R), State x-ray license (if applicable)
  • Has a valid state-issued driver's license and maintains a good driving record
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
  • Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends
About the Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $ $93,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
