As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist at DispatchHealth Management, you will be responsible for performing portable diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings to support the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. This role involves operating portable equipment, positioning patients, and ensuring image quality while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Travel to different locations to perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate portable radiologic equipment and ensure proper use and maintenance
- Position patients correctly for exams and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Demonstrated expertise in radiologic technology, including X-ray, EKG, and ultrasound
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and patient interaction
- Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment
- Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to assignments
