Job Title: General Manager

Company: BFS Foods, Inc.

Job Summary

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire store operations, including program execution, product implementation, and maximizing store efficiencies. This role requires a strong understanding of all store operations and the ability to serve as the Senior Management Person.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide top-quality, fast, efficient, and friendly service to customers.
  • Human Resource Management: Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employees to properly execute programs and foodservice safety procedures.
  • Scheduling: Accept responsibility for store performance, cover all shifts, and develop store schedules to ensure proper labor allocation.
  • Ordering/Receiving Products: Responsible for product ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Merchandising: Attain objectives for all categories, maintain signage, and ensure promotion awareness.
  • Inventory/Cost Control: Follow guidelines for inventory control, perform weekly and month-end inventories, and ensure proper cash levels.
  • Product Promotions and Roll-outs: Execute all corporate promotions, product roll-outs, and process changes.
  • Sanitation: Maintain acceptable health and sanitation results, compile and update foodservice area duty and housekeeping lists, and ensure all employees follow wash hand/glove policies.
  • Accounting: Prepare invoices, check shift audit sheets, verify cash drops, and ensure all payroll information is submitted timely and accurately.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in the foodservice industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for periods up to 8 hours, work in freezer and cooler temperatures, and lift up to 50 pounds.
