Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing and planning individualized patient care, communicating effectively with physicians, and responding quickly to changes in patient condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery setting, including assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition, including responding to emergencies and providing critical care as needed.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and improve the overall quality of care.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, with a preference for previous experience in Labor & Delivery.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
  • Current NRP required.
  • National RN certification preferred.
