Job Summary:

Riverside Community Hospital is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide exceptional direct patient care in our Labor and Delivery setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
  • Communicate with physicians about changes in patients' clinical condition.
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
  • Act in a composed and professional manner, especially under pressure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient charts.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities.
  • Act as the patient's advocate, as circumstances require.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, prefer previous experience in Labor & Delivery.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Current NRP.
  • National RN certification preferred.
