Job Summary
The AHMC Healthcare team is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Labor & Delivery unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patients' biophysical, cognitive, developmental, emotional, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs.
- Collect and document data, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment outcomes.
- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, providing updates on patient status and contributing to care planning.
Qualifications
- 3 years of acute care RN experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery.
- Current CA Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certifications.
- NIHSS certification within 90 days of employment.
