Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting and supervising audit projects, including reviews of information technology (IT) systems. You will also write and review audit reports, provide training and evaluation to staff, and develop and implement effective internal controls and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute audit projects, including reviews of IT systems.
  • Conduct and supervise audit activities within established timelines.
  • Write, review, and edit audit reports and recommendations.
  • Develop and implement effective internal controls and processes.
  • Provide training and evaluation to staff.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college including or supplemented by 12 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting and/or actuarial science.
  • Four years of satisfactory full-time experience implementing the provisions of a retirement plan involving the use of mathematical, statistical, actuarial or accounting computations, with 18 months in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity.
  • A strong understanding of professional audit standards and best practices.
  • Professional certification, such as Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Public Accountant.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
