Job Overview:
As an Arborist Technician, you will be tasked with the essential duties of planting, pruning, and managing trees along various roadways. Your role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and environmental quality of our community.

Key Responsibilities:
- Climb trees utilizing ropes and ladders.
- Operate various machinery including dump trucks, aerial lift bucket trucks, and front-end loaders.
- Utilize tools such as chainsaws, pole saws, and hedge trimmers for effective tree maintenance.
- Ensure the upkeep of tools and equipment used in daily operations.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in tree trimming or nursery operations is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least one (1) year of experience in arbor care and working at significant heights.

Desirable Skills:
- Possession of a current Florida Class B CDL.
- Certification in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) is preferred (certification documentation must be submitted with the application).
