Position Overview:
As an Arborist Technician, you will be responsible for the planting, pruning, removal, and upkeep of trees along various roadways. Your role is crucial in maintaining the aesthetic and ecological integrity of the area.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ascend trees utilizing ropes and ladders.
- Operate various machinery including dump trucks, aerial lift bucket trucks, and front-end loaders.
- Maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in tree care or nursery operations is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with one (1) year of experience in arbor care, particularly at significant heights.

Desirable Skills:
- Possession of a current Florida Class B CDL.
- Current certification in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) is advantageous (a copy of the certification must be uploaded with the application).
