Position Overview:
As an Arborist Technician, you will be tasked with the essential duties of planting, pruning, and maintaining trees along various roadways. Your role is vital to ensuring the health and aesthetics of the landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
- Climb trees using appropriate safety equipment such as ropes and ladders.
- Operate a variety of machinery including dump trucks, aerial lift bucket trucks, and front-end loaders.
- Utilize tools such as chainsaws, stump grinders, and hedge trimmers for effective tree care.
- Maintain and service tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of six (6) months of experience in tree trimming or nursery operations is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates with at least one (1) year of experience in arbor care, particularly at significant heights.

Desirable Skills:
- Possession of a current Florida Class B CDL.
- Certification in Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Intermediate Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) is highly regarded. (Certification documentation must be submitted within three [3] business days of application submission)
