Job SummaryOur client in the Schenectady, NY area is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounting Professional to join their team. This is a full-time contract opportunity for a medium-sized construction company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in GAAP and QuickBooks, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for all accounts receivable, new job set up and closing, processing A/R payments, administering payroll, maintaining subcontractor and supplier insurance policies and contracts, and assisting with payment and payables.

Key qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, 5 years of experience in GAAP and QuickBooks, and 2 years of experience in construction accounting. Salary range is $50-80k.
