About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment and systems.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of equipment and parts.
  • Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with production teams to ensure that maintenance activities do not disrupt production schedules.
  • Develop and implement maintenance projects to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or technical certification preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair work, preferably in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs and VFDs.
  • Ability to obtain an Electrical/Boilers License and maintain a valid driver's license.
