About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team at Associated Milk Producers Inc. (AMPI). As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our manufacturing plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support to ensure the smooth operation of plant equipment, including preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety programs and procedures, including lockout tagout, fall protection, and confined space requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment, as well as performing repairs and replacements as needed.
  • Collaborate with production workers to identify and resolve maintenance-related issues, and provide training and assistance as needed.
  • Interact with vendors and suppliers to ensure efficient repair, parts stocking, and maintenance of plant equipment and systems.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance projects, including assembling bill of materials and working with management on upgrades and modifications.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required; Associates degree or certificate in a related technical field preferred.
  • 1-2 years of skilled experience in mechanical maintenance and repair work, or other combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to obtain an Electrical/Boilers License and maintain a valid driver's license.
