General Summary:

The Registered Respiratory Care Specialist is responsible for executing a range of therapeutic procedures, including advanced practices such as operating balloon pumps, working in NICU, and conducting Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT). This role also involves mentoring staff and students within our teaching institution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to the Mission, Vision, and guiding principles of SJMHS.
  • Provide leadership in patient care delivery.
  • Utilize "AIDET" principles during patient interactions.
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Foster collaborative relationships and address conflicts constructively.
  • Ensure safe respiratory therapy practices and report any safety concerns.
  • Perform all duties in line with AARC guidelines and maintain competencies.

Trinity Health FirstChoice offers a competitive pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week, with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
