Our esteemed financial institution is in search of a Senior Credit Evaluation Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in delivering outstanding credit analysis support to our Commercial Lending division and Chief Credit Officer (CCO).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Senior Credit Analyst, Credit Officer, and CCO to ensure precise and consistent credit evaluations and loan presentations.
- Conduct thorough financial statement analyses and assess cash flow comprehensively.
- Engage with lending professionals to ensure prompt responses and efficient management of the loan pipeline.
- Provide recommendations on collateral valuations and loan structuring in conjunction with the Credit Officer.
- Prepare annual reviews and conduct covenant assessments.
- Analyze less complex loan requests, reviews, and renewals.
- Evaluate individual financial statements and tax documents, while preparing global cash flow analyses.
- Perform industry and market assessments to identify potential risks and mitigating factors.
- Support the Special Assets Group with relevant analyses.
- Ensure adherence to credit policies, regulatory requirements, and lending protocols.
- Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience in commercial lending.
- Completion of a Credit Trainee Program or similar experience.
- In-depth understanding of commercial lending practices, including loan structuring, covenants, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proven experience in analyzing intricate financial statements and tax returns.
- Familiarity with collateral valuation techniques.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, with a solid grasp of accounting principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Capability to convey bank strategies and customer service philosophies effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and the ability to quickly adapt to the bank's technology and systems.
