Job Title: Director of IT Operations

At Anova, we are seeking a highly experienced and strategic-minded individual to join our organization as the Director of IT Operations. This role will oversee all aspects of our IT infrastructure, systems, and operations to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.

About the Role:
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for the IT Operations team, aligning IT initiatives with business goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including network systems, servers, storage, and data centers.
  • Manage the administration and configuration of enterprise systems, including operating systems, databases, and middleware.
  • Develop and implement IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect company assets and data from internal and external threats.
  • Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to support IT operations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
  • Develop and manage the IT operations budget, including forecasting, planning, and cost control measures.
  • Act as an IT partner for department leads, providing business cases for opportunities to reduce cost and/or increase value with IT investment.
  • Implement ITIL or other best practices frameworks for change management, incident management, and problem resolution.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, PMP) preferred.
  • Proven experience (3 to 5 years) in a senior leadership role overseeing IT operations in a complex organizational environment.
  • Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, systems administration, and network management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks, with experience implementing ITIL processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, virtualization, LLMs, and other emerging technologies shaping the future of IT operations.
  • Experience with administration of Microsoft Office 365, Azure, SalesForce, Epicor, and Freshservice.
