Overview

GCyber is a leading provider of cybersecurity solutions, seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Network Infrastructure Specialist to support our mission-critical DoD environment in the Hampton Roads area. This role ensures the reliability and security of information transfer across our network infrastructure.

About the Role

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $160,000 per year, commensurate with experience, for this full-time position. As a Cybersecurity Network Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • PDS Monitoring and Maintenance: Conduct weekly tests of the PDS in accordance with CNSSI No. 7003 standards, ensuring all protective measures are operational and effectively monitored.
  • alert Analysis and Troubleshooting: Perform real-time analysis of PDS alerts and resolve issues as they arise. Provide technical support for device configurations, modes, and settings related to the PDS.
  • Incident Response: Respond to and resolve incidents involving PDS security alerts promptly, coordinating with other security personnel to mitigate any potential risks to network security.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in network administration and/or monitoring in a DoD environment.
  • DoD 8570 IAT II Certification or higher.
  • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
