Job Description

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, for this exciting opportunity.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and creating standardized, efficient, and security-focused testing environments. They will develop and implement manual and automated testing configurations for internal and external systems, as well as provide setup, configuration, and support for various releases of Apache Tomcat, Apache2 & IIS configurations.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing Environment Setup & Management:
    1. Design and create testing environments that meet industry standards.
    2. Develop and implement testing configurations for internal and external systems.
    3. Provide setup, configuration, and support for various software releases.
  • Security & Risk Management:
    1. Support the development and implementation of risk management frameworks (RMF), including boundary diagrams and authority to operate (ATO).
    2. Maintain awareness of vulnerabilities and security concerns of test and production environments.
    3. Provide remediation support for security issues.
  • Application & Device Deployment:
    1. Perform and support application deployments to remote customer sites using delivery mechanisms such as proprietary remote transfer, hard copy, and WSUS packages.
    2. Coordinate with internal and third-party agents for packaging and testing software installations.
  • Miscellaneous Day-to-Day Activities:
    1. Create, update, and present product environment configurations and supporting systems.
    2. Analyze server and application logs, providing recommendations and potential corrective actions when problems are found.
    3. Communicate regularly with internal and customer points of contact.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS in an IT-related field or equivalent experience, plus 7+ years of systems integration/development/security/operations experience.
  • Strong fundamentals in full-stack systems integration, network operations, and application server skills.
  • Experience in systems administration (Windows Server/Active Directory & Linux) and knowledge of public key infrastructure.
  • High-level programming and scripting experience, such as Java, PowerShell, and SQL.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in CMMC2.0, NIST 800-171, Microsoft 365 GCCH, Purview, Azure, Intune, and DevSecOps tools like git, Jenkins, Nexus, Fortify, and SIEMs.
  • Knowledge of containerization and virtualization technologies.
  • Programming experience with Windows installer packages and Tomcat internals.
