In the heart of Alaska, we're looking for a skilled Room Attendant to join our team at the Westmark Fairbanks Hotel and Conference Center.
About the RoleWe're seeking an individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring that every guest has a clean and comfortable stay. As a Room Attendant, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization in our rooms and public areas.
Main Responsibilities:- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in assigned rooms and public areas.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Keep housekeeping storage areas tidy and organized, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Participate in regular deep-cleaning projects to maintain our hotel's high standards.
- Engage with guests, providing them with property information, answering questions, and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years required for company housing (if applicable).
- Active participation in HAP's sustainability program, 'Sustain Alaska & the Yukon', by recycling, reducing waste, and educating guests on our environmental commitment.
- Commitment to HAP's safety culture, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members and guests.
- Dedication to delivering excellent customer service to guests, colleagues, and vendors.
- Awareness and appreciation of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles in the workplace.

- Prioritize tasks efficiently, managing time constraints while working in a team or group environment.
