We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in food manufacturing, with a preference for those experienced in the industry. This role is a full-time position on the second shift, offering competitive pay ranging from $26 to $35 per hour, based on experience and expertise.

Key Responsibilities and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in food production, with a solid understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), USDA regulations, and HACCP standards.
  • Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient knowledge and hands-on experience in HVAC systems, refrigeration, and heating.
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and personal hygiene standards is essential.
  • Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of freezer systems.
  • Experience in various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and Spot Welding.
  • Familiarity with PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Electrical skills including work with conduit, 420V, 3-phase systems, and sensors.
  • Experience with electrical systems up to 480V, including 3-phase motors and AC/DC circuits.
  • Capability to wire new motors into production lines.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing forklifts and reach trucks.
  • Mechanical expertise in industrial machinery, including presses, boilers, conveyors, motors, and chillers.
  • Hands-on mechanical work involving rotors, shafts, bearings, gears, and blade installations.
  • Computer literacy is a must.
  • Proficient reading and writing skills are required.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
