Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to manage day-to-day activities of subcontractors and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction projects from start to finish
  • Monitor and document jobsite safety and accident prevention
  • Develop and implement construction schedules
  • Procure and expedite materials and equipment
  • Process and respond to requests for information (RFIs)
  • Review and negotiate change proposal pricing from subcontractors
  • Prepare and submit change orders
  • Research and suggest options on construction means, methods, and equipment
  • Implement safety programs and EEO/Affirmative Action programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Engineering, or a related field
  • Construction management internship experience
  • OSHA Site Safety Experience
  • Up-to-date with modern technology and excellent communication skills
  • General knowledge of construction principles and practices
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a team environment
  • Valid driver's license with a positive motor vehicle record
  • Working knowledge of project management process and software (Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE)
