We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a Construction Manager, you will be responsible for managing people, subcontractors, and technical CM scopes for the demolition and replacement of existing ER tanks and associated equipment and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acts as owner's representative for construction projects.
  • Ensures general contractor complies with local jurisdiction codes, National Electric Code (NEC), scope of work, and client health, safety, environmental, and site-specific policies.
  • Provides field construction and engineering support to contractor in accordance with site-specific design criteria, drawings, and specifications.
  • Coordinates with general contractor when required at direction of client on various tasks, such as procurement/delivery of incoming materials, daily work inspections, schedule/budget management of project, etc.
  • Assigns, leads, and supervises staff engaged in observation and testing to meet project deadlines.
  • Monitors contractors' progress against schedule, cost, overall performance, and prepares progress reports as applicable.
  • Oversees compilation of project closeout documents, including punchlist and as-builts coordinated through Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering, or related field and 7 years of related experience, including personnel supervision as a Construction Manager, construction of processing facilities, tanks installation experience, brown field experience.
  • With Associate degree, 15 years of related experience is required. Without a degree, 17 years of related experience is required.
  • Prior experience in a lead role in Construction Management required.
  • Experience with Mining Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) standards required.
  • Ability to supervise internal staff, field representatives, and field office personnel.
  • Leadership and managerial skills.
  • Analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and computer software skills.
