At Blue Origin, we're pushing the boundaries of space exploration and development. As an Avionics Supply Chain Engineer II, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of critical avionics hardware for our rocket engines and space projects.
Responsibilities:- Resolve technical issues and sustain suitable manufacturing processes.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks at suppliers, engage in failure investigations and RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) as needed.
- Engage with avionics colleagues to maintain corrective actions and schedules.
- Review and ensure compliance with statements of work (SOW) and provide DFX feedback.
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred).
- 3+ years of avionics hardware manufacturing experience on the job.
- Understanding of engineering fundamentals of aerospace avionics hardware.
- Excellent communication skills, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
- Experience in aerospace avionics/electronics hardware manufacturing.
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Practical RCCA process knowledge (DMAIC preferred), Lean manufacturing experience.
- Experience in SOW generation and compliance.
- Experience performing supplier assessments and non-conformance/RCCA support.
- Relocation provided.
- Travel expected up to 30% of the time.
