Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Culinary Artist to join our Culinary/Bakery team. This individual will assist the culinary leadership team in the production and fabrication of desserts and pastry products for our Banquet and PINE Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, a strong desire to learn, and a passion for growing their talents in the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follows recipes and/or product directions.
• Measures and mixes baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
• Prepares items from scratch or box-scratch such as breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies, cakes, cookies, pastries, and other desserts.
• Checks production and keeps records in order to accurately plan production requirements.
• Molds ingredients into loaves/shapes.
• Places products into correctly prepared pans.
• Places items in ovens.
• Regulates the temperatures of the ovens.
• Removes baked items from ovens and applies appropriate toppings.
• May decorate cakes, cookies, pastries, and other desserts.
• Requisitions supplies and equipment as needed.
• Follows all applicable food regulatory rules and procedures.
• May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.

Requirements:

2+ Years of related work experience in baking and pastry capacity.
