Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our Culinary/Baker Shop team. This individual must be creative, motivated, and passionate about growing their talents in the kitchen. The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment, with a strong desire to learn, develop skills, and work with the culinary leadership team to create menus that reflect seasonal availability and concept of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow recipes and/or product directions.
  • Measure and mix baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
  • Prepare items from scratch or box-scratch such as breads, rolls, muffins, biscuits, pies, cakes, cookies, pastries, and other desserts.
  • Check production and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements.
  • Mold ingredients into loaves/shapes.
  • Place products into correctly prepared pans.
  • Place items in ovens.
  • Regulate the temperatures of the ovens.
  • Remove baked items from ovens and apply appropriate toppings.
  • May decorate cakes, cookies, pastries, and other desserts.
  • Measure and mix baking ingredients using a variety of devices.
  • Requisition supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Follow all applicable food regulatory rules and procedures.
  • May clean and sanitize workstations and equipment.

Qualifications
