About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Motorcycle Transport Specialist at Ted Britt Auto Group. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of motorcycles throughout our dealership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unload and uncrate new motorcycles safely and efficiently
  • Wash and detail motorcycles to the highest standards prior to customer pick-up
  • Assist service technicians in the movement of motorcycles to and from shop areas
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Transport motorcycles as needed, adhering to all safety protocols

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver's license with motorcycle endorsement
  • Prior detailing experience is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
  • Ability to be trained to use motorcycle lift equipment
  • Forklift experience is a plus or ability to be trained

Work Environment

  • Employee will handle various cleaners and chemicals during motorcycle washing and detailing
  • Work area is enclosed but subject to varying temperatures
  • Exposure to gasoline, oil, and exhaust fumes

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to move motorcycles weighing up to 700lbs
  • Must be able to stoop, bend, lift, and stretch
  • Will be required to work outdoors during various weather conditions
