Position Overview:

As our company expands rapidly, we are seeking a skilled Logistics and Parts Coordinator for the 2nd shift to assist our team in managing the movement of materials and components across production areas; ensuring adherence to schedules related to production progress, order priorities, and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and streamline the flow of work and materials within or between departments in accordance with the production schedule.
  • Prepare kits of parts and materials for assembly, consolidating all individual items as outlined by the work order.
  • Review and disseminate production, work, and shipment schedules; collaborate with department supervisors to assess work progress and completion timelines.
  • Load and unload raw materials from trucks and deliver supplies and components to workstations using a forklift to expedite material flow in alignment with production schedules.
  • Possess the knowledge or ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders.
  • Accurately complete time and data entries into the company’s data acquisition system following company policies.
  • Utilize hand tools, shrink wrap, crating, and palletizing equipment to prepare parts for shipment.
  • Assist the shipping/receiving department with product packaging for shipment as needed.
  • Adhere to work order instructions and efficiently produce the required quantity of parts within specified tolerances and aesthetic quality.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or malfunctioning equipment requiring repair.
  • Understand and comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
  • Safely operate forklifts and heavy machinery.
  • Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail and focus on assigned tasks.
  • Track all parts and jobs within the SAP system.
  • Uphold all ISO 9001 and OSHA standards relevant to the responsibilities outlined above.
  • Maintain cleanliness and general housekeeping duties throughout the facility.
  • Complete work priorities as assigned by supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights of 50-60 lbs regularly.
  • Capability to adapt and work in open and/or outdoor environments with varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Basic mathematical and computer proficiency.
  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks promptly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with others and function as part of a team.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in one’s work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Forklift operator certification.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • 1+ year of experience in a Manufacturing Warehouse or related field.
