Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Logistics Specialist II to join our team at SRS Distribution Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers and job sites within a 200-mile radius of our branch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver building materials to customers and job sites in a safe and timely manner.
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Conduct pre and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Validate and confirm inventory loaded on the truck and ensure accurate delivery tickets.
  • Perform job site inspections and document any existing damage or hazards.
  • Load and unload building products that weigh up to 100 lbs. each.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age (21 years of age for interstate driving or hazardous materials transport).
  • Pass a required drug test and possess a current DOT medical certificate.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
  • Prior work experience in distribution or logistics.
  • Ability to lift and move building products up to 100 lbs. each.
