Job Overview

BH Properties is a leading commercial real estate investment firm seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Manager to oversee the management of in-fill urban retail centers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of maximizing cash flow and increasing value in a principal-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular property visits and inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and building systems are fully functional.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their concerns and ensuring compliance with lease agreements.
  • Manage vendor relationships and troubleshoot issues, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations or providing solutions.
  • Oversee projects directed by senior management, including tenant improvements, repairs, and renovations.
  • Assist leasing teams and brokers during lease negotiations, providing input on tenant improvement costs and related matters.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of broad-based commercial property management experience, with a focus on large in-fill urban retail properties.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good understanding of contracts, leases, and leasing objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
