Job Summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Clinical Officer to lead our clinical practice and drive strategic care initiatives across our continuum of care sites and programs. As a key member of our leadership team, you will provide clinical leadership and strategic direction to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care that meets the needs of our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Strategic Clinical Leadership: Develop and implement key strategic and operational initiatives to facilitate optimal care delivery, population health management, and financial sustainability. Collaborate with national clinical leaders to set organization-wide clinical strategies, goals, and standards.
  2. Clinical Operations Optimization: Partner with other strategic leaders to design Systems of Care for clinical value. Develop strategies to optimize clinical operations, improve value through cost, quality, safety, utilization, and value data analysis.
  3. Nursing and Clinical Team Leadership: Develop, align, and mobilize nursing and other clinical leaders around successful achievement of clinical, operational, and strategic priorities for the organization.
  4. Organizational and Community Role Model: Serve as a positive role model for ethical management behavior, promoting awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles consistent with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
  5. Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Oversee the Regulatory Readiness Program for all state, federal, county, and accrediting body surveys; assure Plans of Correction are developed and implemented.
  6. Clinical Education and Optimization: Oversee Clinical Education, Clinical Optimization, and Quality/Support Services.
Qualifications

Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (e.g., BSN) or Physical Therapist (PT) (e.g., DPT) required. Advanced degree in nursing, administration, or other-related field (e.g., MSN/MBA/MHA) preferred.

Required Minimum Experience:

Minimum of ten (10) years of clinical experience and five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience.
