Service Contract Manager

The Contract Administration Manager plays a critical role in the business by overseeing the contracting process for clinical trials, including the management of agreements and related documents.
This position is responsible for the successful implementation, coordination, and administration of contracting procedures for clinical trial agreements, services agreements, and related documents.
Key Responsibilities- Draft, review, and negotiate services agreements, statements of work, clinical trial agreements, and related documents.
- Build relationships with other departments, including the Law Department, to support objectives and responsibilities.
- Administer escalation procedures, prepare vendor correspondence, and maintain related records.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date contract records, files, log, and reports.
- Follow processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Interpret and recommend changes to policies and establish procedures that affect the immediate organization.

Supervision and EducationThis position typically supervises exempt staff.
A Bachelor's Degree is required, and an advanced degree is a plus.
Experience and Required Skills- 3-6 years' related experience in CRO, pharma, biotech, or related industry.
- Knowledge of CRO and/or SMO industry.
- Strong computer skills with demonstrated proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, database, presentation, and email applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
- Must be well-organized and able to work in a demanding environment.
- Experience and knowledge of contracts, proposals, and ability to interpret budgets and protocols.
