Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Perioperative Services Assistant to join our team at Northwell Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to the perioperative team by performing various tasks related to room preparation, supply management, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Acquire, stock, and deliver supplies, laundry, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Transport cultures/specimens to the appropriate department.
  • Answer telephones and communicate professionally and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Perform related duties required to facilitate proper and efficient use of the operating room.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, required.
