Job Overview

LA Family Housing Corp. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Administrative Assistant - Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will provide administrative support to our executive team and assist with various HR-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the executive team, including scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and planning travel itineraries.
  • Assist with HR-related tasks, such as preparing and distributing confidential documents, using HR software to retrieve information and generate reports, and planning and coordinating HR events and meetings.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date records and files, including personnel files, benefits information, and other HR-related documents.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees, management, and external stakeholders, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of HR-related activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing laws, regulations, and best practices in HR, and provide recommendations for improvements to HR processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or HR role, preferably in a non-profit or social services organization.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with HR software, such as Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG), is highly desirable.
