Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Care Team at CenterWell Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform pre-visit planning and manage the provider's schedule to ensure efficient workflow
  • Obtain and record medical history and vital signs
  • Room patients and assist healthcare providers with medical procedures and treatments
  • Perform specimen collection and point of care testing
  • Prepare and administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
  • Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Maintain established quality control standards
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience
  • CPR certification
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Medication/vaccine administration experience
  • 1+ years of Medical Assistant experience
