Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Clinical Care Team at CenterWell Senior Primary Care. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality services.
Key Responsibilities- Perform pre-visit planning and manage the provider's schedule to ensure efficient workflow
- Obtain and record medical history and vital signs, and room patients for medical procedures and treatments
- Perform specimen collection and point-of-care testing, and prepare and administer medications under the direction of healthcare providers
- Ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Maintain established quality control standards and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant training program or equivalent experience
- CPR certification and bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care
