Job Description:

Fidelity Enterprise Architecture (FEA) is seeking an experienced User Experience Architect to drive end-to-end architecture for the Brokerage business domain. In this role, you will work directly with product teams across the retail investing space and the workplace investing space to design solutions that meet business priorities and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the overall technical and experience architecture for multiple teams in a complex space.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to align architecture needs and ensure scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Design and implement APIs using REST and GraphQL, with a focus on customer experience, scale, security, and performance.
  • Break down user interfaces into smaller reusable pieces and lead large-scale migrations.
  • Build highly scalable architecture to support Omnichannel experience platforms.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in architecture, including scalability, resilience, security, and data architecture.
  • Experience in engineering web and/or mobile applications end-to-end, with a focus on customer experience, scale, security, and performance.
  • Proficient in principles of API design and its applications.
  • Experience with enterprise API implementation, using REST and GraphQL.
  • Ability to lead and drive end-to-end architecture for multiple teams in a complex space.
What to Expect:

An initial conversation with the assigned Technical Recruiter for overall job expectations and employment requirements. Then, you will have a conversation with one of the Architecture Leads operating in the Fidelity Enterprise Architecture group. After that, a 3-part multi-panel interview where you will discuss questions and scenarios around end-to-end architectural solutioning, technical background, and leadership topics with a group of your potential future peers.
