About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team as a Mobile Care Unit Specialist. As a key member of our hospice care team, you will provide high-quality, non-emergent care and transportation to patients in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide competent, comfort-focused care within the scope of EMT practice, administering prescribed first aid treatment as needed.
  • Operate and maintain a medical transportation vehicle while ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations.
  • Prepare logs and reports as required, ensuring accurate documentation of patient care and services provided.
  • Assist in other activities and departments as needed to ensure complete and thorough patient care.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities to support the quality of our hospice services.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Current, valid EMT certification in the state of Ohio
  • EVOC and HazMat training preferred
  • One year of experience preferred
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
  • Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather
  • Valid Driver's License with Safe Driving Record
  • State Minimum Automobile Insurance Coverage
