About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing portable x-ray exams in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and patient locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to patient locations to perform portable x-ray exams, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment, positioning patients for exams, and determining exposure factors as needed.
  • Collect and verify patient information, order documentation, and other required data prior to procedures.
  • Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
  • Process and transmit images, maintaining high-quality diagnostic images for radiologists and physicians to review.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of care, maintaining effective communication and relationships with patients, families, and staff.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed, and adhering to company protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, walk up and down stairs easily, and work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
