Job Description

**Job Summary**

Mercy Pet Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our veterinary hospital. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the hospital, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction and staff morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage all hospital staff, including front office and veterinary teams
  • Oversee client relations, including scheduling appointments, handling client complaints, and ensuring excellent customer service
  • Manage hospital operations, including inventory control, supply ordering, and maintenance of hospital facilities
  • Prepare and manage budgets, including accounts payable and receivable, and ensure compliance with financial regulations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective hospital operations
  • Collaborate with the Practice Manager and Hospital Administrator to achieve hospital goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including OSHA and HIPAA

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital or related field
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in computer software, including Microsoft Office and veterinary practice management systems
