About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet/Ground Service Equipment Manager to join our team at dnata. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating activities related to fleet maintenance, ground service equipment, and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate inspection, repair, and maintenance services to ensure maximum utilization of equipment and prevent operational delays.
- Direct procurement of all types of company-owned and operated ground service equipment, materials, supplies, and parts required to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Consult with others to determine equipment and machinery requirements.
- Direct work schedules to obtain optimum utilization of personnel.
- Assist in the development of training materials and procedural manuals.
- Conduct training and orientation meetings.
- Confer with customers and representatives of associated industries to evaluate, promote, improve, and expand ground services.
- Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines, and other resources.
Requirements:
- 3 years of supervisory/management experience
- 5 years diesel mechanic/ground service equipment related experience
