Job Summary

This leadership position is responsible for assisting the Chief Nursing Officer in overseeing all nursing functions and designated patient care services within The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus. Key responsibilities include providing guidance and support to senior executives, assessing and planning nursing practice on a multi-unit level, and ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care.

Accountabilities
  • Support the Chief Nursing Officer in leading nursing teams and promoting a culture of excellence
  • Assume 24/7 responsibility for assigned areas, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication among staff
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement strategies for improving patient outcomes and quality of care
  • Provide guidance on resource management, including budgeting and staffing, to ensure optimal use of resources
Key Qualifications
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in nursing administration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop creative solutions
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards

The estimated salary for this role is $103,000 - $135,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
