Staffing Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Staffing Coordinator to join our team at HC&N Healthcare Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and post schedules for the nursing department, track and post changes, and approve trades.
  • Maintain accurate records of call-outs, late arrivals, and early departures, and coordinate with HR to ensure attendance policies are enforced promptly and fairly.
  • Monitor daily PPD and minimize staff overtime.
  • Contact and schedule agency staff, if necessary, to cover open shifts.
  • Provide timely reports to the DON regarding staffing, vacancies, and agency use.
  • Maintain accurate records of PTO and change requests.
  • Experience working with payroll and minor HR functions is required.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience as a Staffing Coordinator in long-term care.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Computer knowledge is essential.
  • Experience in long-term care with scheduling, HR, and payroll is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills are necessary.

Compensation: Up to $65,000 per year
