Job OverviewPosition Summary

University Hospitals offers a sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time and $5,000 for part-time roles in Radiology.

Open positions include: CT Technologist, MRI Technologist, Mammography Specialist, Mobile Van Mammography, Multi-Modality Technologist, Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Radiographer, Sonographer, and Angiography Technologist.

Key Responsibilities

  • Exhibits proficient technical and patient care skills by effectively conducting special procedures in the Angiography department.
  • Utilizes administrative capabilities to support the efficient functioning of the Angiography unit.
  • Collaborates efficiently and promptly with colleagues and staff members.

Additional Duties

  • Performs other assigned tasks as necessary.
  • Adheres to all organizational policies and standards.
  • For detailed responsibilities, refer to the documentation provided during orientation.
  • Must comply with all regulations to securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies are established to ensure appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Qualifications

Education Requirements

  • Completion of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program (Required).

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience as a radiologic technologist (Required).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Competence in performing procedures specific to the Angiography area (Required proficiency).
  • Familiarity with various equipment used in the field, including digital subtraction, power injectors, and multiple computer systems (Required proficiency).

Licenses and Certifications

  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) (Required).

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing and walking.
  • Occasional sitting.
  • Regular lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of up to 50 lbs.
  • Occasional climbing and balancing.
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Constant talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
  • Consistent eye/hand/foot coordination.

Travel Requirements

  • 10% travel may be required.
